As per the information provided by the Sensor Tower, Nintendo’s Mario Kart Tour has now more than 123.9 million downloads just in the first month. The downloads are combined on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The Mario Kart game from Nintendo was announced in January 2018 and the original launch date for the game was set to be in March 2019 and after that, it was delayed and then launched on 25th September. Sensor Tower said that it eclipsed Super Mario Run as it is the biggest mobile launch for Nintendo ever.
The only game is ahead of Mario Kart Tour is Pokemon Go that gathers 163 million downloads during the first 30 days of its launch. According to recent data, Pokemon Go has already crossed the One Billion download mark.
As of now, Mario Kart Tour has earned more than $37.4 million from the in-game purchases from Google Play Store along with the Apple App Store.
The number of downloads for the Super Mario Run in the first month was 21.8 million, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp 19.1 million times, Dragalia Lost hit 1.6 million times, Dr. Mario World 7.4 million downloads during the first month.
Another popular game that was launched recently was Call of Duty: Mobile that was launched recently and it features various modes like battle royale mode along with some classic modes that can be seen in the original Call of Duty Franchise games. The game was announced way back in March this year and is developed by Tencent Game who is also the makers of PubG mobile. Call Of Duty was launched on 1st October and within its first week, it crossed the 100 million marks by shattering many records.
