Flag created by Daniel Quasar in June 2018; it is a flag that takes the colours of Gilbert Baker’s rainbow flag (6-color version). Daniel Quasar adds black, brown, pink, light blue and white bands in the shape of a triangle located on the left side of the flag. The new colours aim to make the flag more inclusive and progressive. The arrow pointing to the right of the flag but not touching the right edge indicates that progress remains to be made, even if the general movement is moving forward. The Progress Pride flag was reworked in 2021 by British intersex activist Valentino Vecchietti. Many critics found that the flag, intended to be progressive and inclusive, like many others, overlooked intersex people. It is from these reasons that the creation of the Intersex-inclusive Progress Pride flag started. Pride month falls on June 2022, in the UK, where Finley the Pomeranian is from. He will at this time be attending events, to further show his support to this community.
